Does this bar fit my machine? How to read the fitment line

It is the first question on every kit worth over a thousand euro: will this actually fit my machine? MachineBars is built around answering it honestly. Here is how to use the fitment information on the site, and where to be careful.
The fitment line is quoted, not interpreted
On each product page there is a fitment line under the heading that lists which machines the bar is made for. That text is quoted verbatim from the factory's own component list. We do not rewrite it, tidy it or translate the model codes, because a bar that fits a specific machine variant is not something to paraphrase. If the line says the kit is for a specific model with a specific qualifier, that qualifier is there for a reason.
Read the qualifiers
Fitment lines often carry small notes that decide whether a kit fits your exact machine. Common ones across the range include:
- a build-year marker such as "2021-", meaning from that year onward
- a configuration note such as machines with or without a certain factory option
- a note about steps, cabs or other bodywork that changes where the bar mounts
Two machines with the same model name but a different qualifier can need different bars. Read the whole line, not just the model number.
Why we do not expand model ranges automatically
Where the factory writes a range, we only present the individual models inside it when a curated, sourced model table backs that expansion; otherwise the range stays as a single verbatim entry. Guessing that a bar for one member of a series fits every member would be exactly the kind of overclaim that gets a wrong bar shipped. The model pages that do list individual machines are built from that curated table, and a page will tell you when an entry is still unverified.
When in doubt, ask
If your machine variant, build year or factory options are not a clear match for the fitment line, do not guess. Use the quote form on the product page and give us your machine details; a fitment check costs nothing and is a lot cheaper than a returned bar. That same route is how we handle machines that are close to, but not exactly, a catalogued fit.
